About Us

Our Background

Hardt Fitness was founded by Nina, in 2020, to provide Kinesiology and Personal Training services. Our mission is to provide custom fitness and rehabilitation programs and enable people to excel in their daily lives.

Hardt Fitness combines our coaches’ extensive academic knowledge with practical experience in rehab and personal training. Whether you need to adress the chronic pain from your desk job or MVA, crush it at Urban Rec soccer or want to get toned, Hardt Fitness provides you with exercises specifically targeted to address your goals.

In addition to providing excellent fitness programs, Hardt Fitness addresses the barriers that have prevented you from meeting your goals in the past. The approach is holistic, realistic and personable while motivating you to take ownership of your health. There is a strong focus on educating clients on how to reach their goals so they have the knowledge to be independent in their future health and performance pursuits. Long term, the goal is to help clients reclaim their strength, excel in performance and promote long term wellbeing.

Nina graduated with a Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2021 and has over 5 years of Kinesiology and Personal Training experience. Her foundation was built in a strength and conditioning setting working with varsity athletes but, over the years, Nina started working with the general public and specialized in active rehabilitation of people with chronic pain. Her personal experience as a high level soccer player and dealing with numerous of her own injuries inspired her to purse her degree in Kinesiology. Now, Nina is pursuing her masters of physiotherapy at UBC.

In her free time, she likes to play soccer, ski, hike or play tennis. Since moving to Vancouver from Germany, Nina has taken up competitive dinghy sailing and ski touring!
